Formula CURA 4 hydraulic brake set
With the Cura 4 brakes, Formula’s developers set a very ambitious goal – maximum braking performance, the best ergonomics and modulation values, as well as excellent service friendliness. They adopted the brake lever from the Cura model, which is the most ergonomic that Formula has developed so far and can be mounted on both the left and right side of the handlebars, thanks to the practical flip-flop mount.
The real innovation, however, is the new 4-piston brake caliper. Each with four 18 mm brake pistons. The combination with the forged two-piece caliper and the low-friction anodized coating results in unprecedented stopping power combined with high reliability. These brakes can therefore be used in “gravity” disciplines as well as on electric bicycles.
Cura 4 are filled with specially developed mineral oil. A higher boiling point and an extremely low freezing point characterize this brake fluid compared to other manufacturers and thus meet the requirements of the Formula.
