Garmin Edge 1040 Solar GPS cycling computer
Edge 1040 Solar is Garmin’s first cycle computer with solar charging. Extremely durable Power Glass™ with support for solar charging brings extra battery life. Efficient solar recharging will make it possible to extend battery life by up to 20 minutes for every hour of driving (depending on the intensity*). Thanks to the equipment and the new type of GPS multi-band GNSS receiver, the use and recording of the route (give) will be even more reliable wherever you are. Edge 1040 is based on the proven equipment of older model series and also brings several improvements, including extended battery life.
The high standard of equipment with a colour touch screen that supports control even when wearing gloves is complemented by new refined functions of physiological metrics – REAL-TIME STAMINA will allow you to monitor the level of exhaustion in real time, POWER GUIDE will provide a better overview of the achieved and achievable performance goals (W) with connected wattmeter.
With the Edge 1040 Plus, you will always be ready to ride immediately without unnecessary adjustments. Mainly thanks to the new elaborate management of settings and data management with detailed data display settings depending on the type of activity (road cycling, MTB, indoor, etc.), connected sensors and also based on popularity.
It doesn’t matter what type of cycling you prefer, the Edge 1040 will add value to every ride.
